
Samurai Gourmet finally arrived in Bangkok. Therefore, one of the first stop, had to be at the legendary Thai street food spot by Jay Fai. To try her famous dish “Crab omelette” that launched to fame to the legend Thai chef. In addition, I will give you the best tips before going to eat Thai street food at Jay Fai.
What time to arrive?

First of all, I must warn you that if you do not want to wait hours in the queue. Hence, you must arrive at 8:30 am to avoid the crowd and I am assure that your wait will be 30 minutes only, as I did. Meanwhile, Jay Fai opens her street food shop at 9:00 am to make her tasty Thai food. Moreover, if you are lucky like me and come alone. They might give you the table with the best view, in front of the Thai chef.
What to eat at Jay Fai

Surely, I want you to be realistic. Because, perhaps you might try to order the most you can eat. But, what you must try at Jay Fai is the Crab Omelette. In fact, it is what they will recommend you. After that, I’m pretty sure, you will be very fulled as me. In fact, I could not order anything else. Due to, the size of signature dish, is so big. Otherwise, come with friends, if you wish to eat more Thai food here.
The price
Certainly, to be Thai street food you are paying a lot of money. In effect, the cost of the Crab Omelette is $1000 THB around $40 AUD, besides a beer that is pretty much so cheap $160 THB.
Did I eat something at Jay Fai?
Indeed, nope the crab omelette was more than enough, plus a Thai beer. However, I am thinking to go again to try more of her Thai food. Because I will be in Bangkok until 2 of July of this year.
