Certainly, I have been to several Korean restaurants in Melbourne, but nothing has been better than Bornga restaurant. Besides, having some Korean friends and workmates that also recommended me Bornga as the best Korean bbq in the city. Hence, Samurai Gourmet had to come to eat here and try its food. Moreover, the Korean bbq restaurant is at 1/178 Little Bourke Street in Chinatown.

First of all, Bornga is the most expensive Korean bbq restaurant in the city. But the quality is worth it. In fact, Korean food in Melbourne is very cheap; you can eat very well for AUD 50 each per person, plus friends. However, at Bornga, it is different. As I said before, you pay more, but the food is better.

Going on with Bornga, what I love from here, is you do not have to pay for the side dishes. In effect, it is a compliment, so it is for free. Therefore anytime you run out of your lettuce, kimchi or any other. They fill it up your table again but remember just with the side dish, because the bbq, in this case, the meat, you have to pay for it.

In addition, the Korean bbq at Bornga is great, plus when I finished my dinner here, the food did not repeat me. That is to say, I could eat Korean bbq again the next day. Because what happens to me when I am going to eat Korean food in other places. Due to this, I know the standard is lower. Hence, for sure, it is cheaper. Then after ending my Korean food, I feel like I do not want to eat Korean bbq for a while. In short, it was too much and too fatty.
