When I started to live in Australia, Chilean empanadas and bbq were one of the main food that I missed from home. Besides, to find it here in Melbourne, it was almost a dream. And I said almost because I was living four miles away from an excellent Argentinian restaurant called Asado.

Perhaps, you will say, well, the food that is made at Asado is Argentinian cuisine, and it’s true. However, also it’s part of the typical Chilean food. In fact, that varies between these both South American cuisines are some ingredients. But the flavours are truly connected.
Moreover, may people from Chile will not agree what I am going to say, but in Argentina is well known for being expert in bbq on charcoal grill, and even better than in my native home. On the other hand, in my country is so popular. Therefore, twice a week, is the less that you can eat meat on a charcoal grill.
That’s why, my cravings for an authentic South American bbq. Surely, helped me out to find the restaurant Asado, where a juicy empanada and a so tasty skirt steak were kicking out in my mind.
