Without a doubt, Ega has been the best Thai restaurant that I have tried in Bangkok. And I ate many of them, from street food to fine dining. But still, Ega gave me the most authentic, delicious and best Thai food in the city. Moreover, it’s located at 829 Song Wat Rd, Chinatown, near the famous Chao Phraya River in Bangkok.
Certainly, that’s not all because delicious Thai food such a the Raw Prawn Salad, Mi Krop and River Prawn are highly recommended by Samurai Gourmet to eat at Ega. In fact, these dishes I tried it in other Thai restaurants as well while being in Bangkok, but still, here it was so good and for sure better than the others.
Raw Prawn Salad the best at Ega
If you ask me which is my favourite Thai food that I tasted in Bangkok. Surely, the Raw Prawn Salad is on the list because it is so fresh, spicy and yummy. Besides, as I said before I tried it in several places but the most tasty Raw Prawn Salad was at the Thai restaurant Ega. You must try it here.
Prawn River
Can I tell you I secret I like prawns but if you ask me that if they are my favourites nope. However, at Ega I loved it with my heart because they made it so good. That’s why I have to recommend you this dish due to is amazing, and you will crave more for sure.
Mi Krop with Prawns
This dish I ate it in two places, first in the fine dining Thai restaurant R-haan two Michelin stars and second at Ega. Then guess, which one was better, without hesitation Ega made the nicest Mi Krop. Moreover, for those who don’t know what it is Mi Krop. In other words, it is a spicy Thai dish of deep-fried noodles with a sweet and sour sauce that means crisp noodles in Thai. Must try here.
