Those behind of Uminono, Arnaud a French chef for Normandy, Remi is another chef from France and the chef Yuki, the woman from where sun rise Japan. In short, a great team that makes amazing sushi.

Nowadays, if you love sushi and Japanese food, you probably know about Uminono. In fact, it is a famous sushi restaurant that makes premium sushi boxes for take away, plus open for lunch from 12:00 pm until 1:30 pm as a 6 seats on a bar. Besides, offering chirashi bowls of sushi rice topped with fish and condiments. Moreover, where it is located in Rear, 154 Greville St, Prahran.

After that, Samurai Gourmet had to come to see if the rumours of Uminono were true about its great sushi. Hence, I ate twice in this sushi restaurant one in lunch time and also a take away premium sushi box.

First of all, this rice bowl topped with sashimi was the first dish that I ate in Uminono. Moreover, if you are thinking to eat here, you must tried this one. Because, it is the best of all of them, for price and taste. Therefore, it is the signature bowl in this sushi restaurant. As a result, it is delicious and unique Japanese food. In addition, you will just pay $45AUD.

Otoro & Crab

Continuing with my next dish at Uminono, I won’t blame you, if you want to try the Otoro & Crab Chirashi. Due to, I tried it as well, just to know how good it was the most expensive rice bowl in the sushi restaurant. Because, the price goes up to $85 AUD. Further, I have to admit that this bowl was delicious but I am still thinking that signature dish is better than this one and cheaper though.

Take Away Premium Sushi Box

Surely, the best at Uminono the premium sushi box, but you can get it take away only. In effect, it is just available for picking up at the Japanese restaurant. Moreover, the price hits the $140 AUD however you are getting 22 nigiris and 8 maki rolls. In short, no matter what, but you are obtaining an exclusive sushi for more than a fair enough price and incredible yummy Japanese food.

In conclusion, eating sushi at Uminono, you will get high quality Japanese food for a better price of the most expensive Japanese restaurant in Melbourne that’s why you must visit here.
