After three times, where I have come to eat at Gilson, two visits for breakfast and the latest for dinner. Certainly, the Italian restaurant comes with beautiful dishes such as. The Eggs & Chili and Avocado Bruschetta to eat it in breakfast. Besides, the Burrata Cheese, the Pasta Cacio e Pepe and the Lamb Ragu to try at lunch or dinner.
Moreover, all these dishes were tasted by me, where two of them are my favorites. First of all, it is the Eggs & Chili and second the pasta Cacio e Pepe both super good and will not disappoint you.
In addition, At Gilson you will find some authentic Italian flavors. Also, a cozy restaurant that is very nice. Besides, located in a beautiful area, closes to the botanic gardens and very near to the restaurant Matilda 159, where I have had one of the best experience with Australian food in Melbourne.

Samurai Gourmet At Gilson
Although, the first time when I came here, I ordered a take away Avocado Bruschetta on sourdough with fetta and basil. Then I ate it on the Park, well known as the Botanic Gardens beside to a Latte. In short, it was nice but when I really got the best food at Gilson, was in my second and third times.
Eggs Chili with scrambled eggs, bacon, pecorino, parsley, toast
Surely, this is one of the most tasty scrambled eggs that I have tried. Because, the mix with bacon and pecorino Romano is beautiful. Plus, if you love chili as I do, this is gonna be your favorite breakfast dish in Melbourne and you can find it at Gilson.
In fact, The Burrata cheese was nice but I found it a bit unsalted. Perhaps, If I could have ordered with a Flat bread that is also on the menu. Certainly, it would have been the right match to accompanied my Burrata. But I preferred to eat it by itself, to be able to try more food, maybe that was my mistake. However, now you know what to do, to make your food taste better.
Cacio e Pepe
Although, Cacio e Pepe is one of the most simple Italian pasta. Because requires, Parmesan cheese, pepper and water to make sauce. But Also, it’s true that is super delicious. Therefore, after the Burrata I had to eat it in my dinner at Gilson. In short, it was so good and very cheesy. In addition, nothing to envy to the Cacio e Pepe that I ate at Antonello Colonna in Rome.

Lamb Ragu with Pappardelle
Definitely, I was saving appetite for another pasta. That’s why, I didn’t want to order the Flat Bread in my entrée with the Burrata cheese. So, I have got the Lamb Ragu at Gilson. As a result, the pasta was good, but I was looking for a better dish. In other words, much tastier.
