I have been in very good, if it’s not the best Italian restaurants in Melbourne. But, still none of them have been better than Rosetta. In fact, Rosetta has given to me the most authentic Italian flavours. Besides, an elegant way of presenting its dishes and the fancy concept of a beautiful restaurant make this place unique. And don’t forget the view of the Yarra River that does more pleasant dining at the Italian restaurant.

In addition, Rosetta is not just good food, proclaimed for the guest. In other words, this restaurant has been awarded by The Age – Good Food Guide Awards 2018 – with Two Chef Hats. Therefore, it a place with serious tasty food. Moreover, the Italian restaurant is run for the Australian chef Neil Perry, the same who is in charge at Spice Temple and Rockpool.

Dining at Rosetta The Best Italian Restaurant in Melbourne
Having that said, Rosetta as the best Italian restaurant in this city, by my humble opinion. But what confirms my sayings is that I have been in Italy, trying very traditional food. And the Neil Perry’s restaurant is not far for those flavors, rather it so close, besides, a great service.
Important to know, the price a dilemma for those we care about our wallet. Well, sometimes because food is a pleasure and is the best way to spend our money. But from time to time we care. And, that’s why I’m going in deep on this.
Certainly, Rosetta is not cheap but a nice pasta and a glass of wine surround $60 AUD, not too bad after all. However, my experience here, I can’t avoid to eat my second pasta or my whole portion of Agnolotti del Plin, roast rabbit, veal and pork that is my favorite that cost $70 AUD. Although, it can be order half portion to a price of $35 AUD that is much cheaper. Another dish that is incredible, is Tagliolini with spanner crab, garlic, chilli and parsley $39 AUD.
Now, it’s time to explain what I loved it at the Italian restaurant.
Tagliolini with spanner crab, garlic, chilli and parsley

You might be wondering, why just pasta. In fact, the pasta at Rosetta is so good and the spanner crab is madness delicious. In other words, I’m so happy for the authentic Italian food and the yummy it is that truly, I don’t need anything else than order another pasta.

And here, the whole portion of Agnolotti that is amazing too. Literally, just now explaining about this pasta that I would wish to be eating it right now. Because, I love rabbit so tasty, plus the veal and pork. In short, it one of the best together with the spanner crab.
