Taan is a modern Thai Restaurant in the heart of Bangkok that is proud of the country’s food artisans and their unique ingredients. Besides, Taan has been included in the Michelin Guide 2022. Hence, it is a must to consider visiting this Thai restaurant to eat local food cooked in a sophisticated way. Additionally, Taan counts with a fantastic view because it is located on a rooftop at Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok.

Indeed, it was just my instinct to come to eat at the Thai restaurant Taan because I did not do much research to find this place. Moreover, once I arrived, my first impression was to have chosen the right spot to try Thai food. Mainly due to the restaurant being cozy and beautiful, not to mention the amazing view.
Thai Food inside the Thai Restaurant
First of all, the Thai food I ate at Taan was like homemade dishes that transformed into exquisite presentations. Furthermore, it would be best to consider the wine pairing as I did because it enhances the experience even more. As a result, I tried authentic Thai food in a sophisticated way with a great selection of wine from around the world.
Moreover, the wine pairing I tasted at Taan was fantastic and well-matched with all the Thai food I tried in the restaurant. Surely, I highlight the red wine Burgundy from France Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes-de-Beaune 2018. In short, I strongly recommend the Thai Restaurant Taan to eat authentic Thai food in Bangkok.

WOW! I know Michelin guide….but….. You still put a lot of trust in that restaurant to eat clownfish. Getting past that it really looks like a great restaurant and many of those dishes I never came across at Thai restaurants I’ve been to. Interesting trip!
Yes because it’s a fine dining Thai restaurant and for this reason they combine local ingredients with sophisticated presentations
