First of all, it was one of my luckiest days in Bangkok when I found a cozy Thai-Chinese restaurant Konchong Konprung. A little restaurant with humble Thai food that transports you to the old days of childhood, making it a place to visit more than one time. Moreover, the Thai spot is included by the Michelin guide in this city. And indeed, the most important you will find good food.

Besides, where I tried simple dishes with so much flavour and one of the tastiest chickens that I have eaten in my life called “crispy chicken in red Shaoxing sauce”. And others such as stir-fried pork with salted Chinese olives on rice and shiitake cabbage pork ribs soup. Moreover, a dish suitable for breakfast that I tasted was stir-fried eggs with Chinese sweet-pickled radish. Indeed, all of them were so delicious but crispy chicken with spicy Shaoxing sauce was the best.

But that is not all at Konchong Konprung due to always is nice to know when a restaurant is not expensive. Fortunately, for us, the Thai-Chinese place is very cheap and we don’t have to break our wallets to eat delicious Thai food.

Thai-Chinese drinks

Not only the Thai food was so good at Konchong Konprung but also the drinks because sweet orange peels with salted plum & lime was very nice. Being salted and sweet at the same time was something new to try and totally recommend it. Further, Thai tea was another drink that I drank here and it was so good.
