Shirokane Tori-Tama was the first Yakitori restaurant that I tried in Bangkok. Besides, the Japanese restaurant is recommended by the Michelin Guide. Therefore, this was the reason that I went to eat Japanese food and authentic Yakitori. Additionally, Japanese restaurant has four branches in Asia, two in Tokyo, one in Bangkok and another in Singapore.

My story at Shirokane Tori-Tama: I first regretted not making a reservation when I arrived at the Japanese restaurant because it was fully booked. Hence, the only way to eat there was to sit at the Sake bar Orihada Shoten. In fact, the sake bar is also part of the Japanese restaurant but with smaller dishes on the menu. However, the great thing is that you are able to order as well the same menu as the Yakitori restaurant. Further, the bar is so good that it has beautiful Japanese drinks such as sake, plum wine, whiskey, shochu and beers.
The chef’s selection of seven different yakitori was the first Japanese food that came to my table at Shirokane Tori-Tama. Then, I continued by ordering more until to reached the Charcoal Duck Breast with Leeks. Afterwards, I went through the sake selection to end with Plum wine. In short, it was like returning to Tokyo again and feeling so happy to try an excellent and authentic yakitori at one of the best Japanese restaurants in Bangkok, Shirokane Tori-Tama.
