Why people in Melbourne loves Dragon Hot Pot so much and the answer is simple. In fact, this Chinese food has a great concept. In other words, here you can add to your hot pot everything what you want. Besides, the price is valuated in grams about all the ingredients that you chose. That means, they weigh on a scale the food that you added to your pot and then they put the price.
For example, the Dragon Hot Pot of the picture below is about 1 kilo of different ingredients, so its cost is around $32 AUD. Surely, the price it’s not pretty much, due to how much food is in this big bowl. Because, it’s big, two persons can eat easily this Chinese soup and be very satisfied. However, if you want to eat less than 1 kilo, of course is possible that it’s your choice. Also the amount that you pay is less. Moreover, the Dragon Hot Pot is so tasty. That is to say, now you have a lot of food and delicious flavours at the same time. As a result, this place was the greatest idea to give the best experience about Chinese food.

A Delicious Chinese Soup

First of all, Dragon Hot pot counts with four broth to choose. Such as Signature Ma La Tang, Sichuan Hot & Sour, Collagen Bone Broth and Pickled Mustard. In fact, I personally like The Signature Ma la Tang, because it’s more normal for me about the flavors. However, it’s a bit spicy but also it can be ordered less spicy if you want, for those who don’t stand too much chilli in the food. On the other hand, The Collagen Bone Broth I didn’t like it much, due to, it is too strong and the Chinese soup is too fatty for me. Likewise, The Sichuan Hot Sour another one that I felt a bit wear, indeed, it is too sour. After that, The last one Pickled Mustard and being honest I haven’t tried yet. As a result the best choice by my opinion is Signature Ma La Tang is so good.
In conclusion, I usually coming with my friends to eat at Dragon Hot Pot. Besides, they are Asians and love this place. Even, they prefer Chinese hot pot than Japanese ramen. However I prefer ramen but what I think about the Chinese spot that it has a fantastic concept, where you can put all the food, in your pot as you wish. In other words, when is the moment to choose the ingredients, is almost impossible to stop. In short, I enjoyed each time here and the most important, I always finished with my belly full and my heart happy.
